Quality, Integrity, and Provenance.
After the roller coaster that the Spring of 2020 gave us, the silver lining arrived with the announcement that Trink Milk was awarded Gold from the Taste of the West. A very thorough judging panel concluded that Trink milk was “Excellent”, “Like good ‘old fashioned’ milk”, “Creamy and smooth”. “A wonderful creamy colour, a fresh clean aroma – as we expected and hoped for.” They also described it as “Lush” “Cannot be improved” and “Absolutely delicious”. Their final piece of advice was “Don’t change a thing!” As you can imagine we were thrilled to receive the award and delighted with the comments!
Taste of the West is the largest independent regional food group in the UK and promotes and supports fantastic local food and drink producers from this region. They champion food and drink producers in the West Country, to prove that when it comes to what you eat and drink, it really is best in the South West.
To ensure high standards are maintained they run an annual awards scheme, meaning a truly unique organisation for the South West’s food and drink industry. All members share a passion for the provenance and quality of the products they make, serve, or sell. Ever since 1991, their ethos remains the same – Quality, Integrity, and Provenance.
We are very proud that the attention to detail within our business has been recognised, from managing the grass and cows, right through to the bottle, as a high-quality product. Many of you know this already but we would nevertheless welcome anyone who hasn’t tasted our milk to take the opportunity to visit our farm. Until you’ve tasted it you’ll never understand the difference.
Whilst here tasting the milk, if you are early enough make sure you watch the cows being milked, anytime between 6.30am and 8.30am every morning.
